Reporting to the Manager, Financial Operations, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the preparation, maintenance and collection of property tax and utility accounts. Focused on customer service excellence, you will be responding to customer inquiries and liaising with various other government agencies. Considerable knowledge of collections practices and procedures with regard to BC homeowner grants, property tax deferment, and the annual tax sale is required. Educational Requirements: In order to be considered for this position you must have: ??? Grade 12 supplemented with a two-year diploma in Business Administration. ??? Minimum three years??? experience in a Collections environment, performing cash receipting and customer account management using computer software applications. Salary: This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $31.81 to $37.41.
