The City of Abbotsford???s Property Risk Management & Legal Department is seeking a self-motivated professional to join their dynamic team as a Legal Administrative Service Clerk.

In this fast paced, deadline oriented role, you will provide administrative services to the Legal Services Division. Responsibilities include preparation and assembly of items for Council, Committee and other agendas, processing documents for execution, assisting with record management and providing additional clerical and administrative support as required. Your organization, prioritization and time management skills will make you an asset to the team.

As the Legal Administrative Service Clerk, you will provide support in the drafting and processing of bylaws, policies and procedures, research, assist in handling claims, file management and customer service. Your problem solving skills, sound judgement and ability to create efficiencies in your work will guide your success in this position. If you have considerable knowledge of the applicable rules, regulations, policies and practices which govern departmental activities, and are proficient in a variety of computer systems and software applications, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications Required:

??? Grade 12 supplemented by four post-secondary courses in administrative and computerized software (word processing and spreadsheet applications);
??? A minimum of two-years??? administrative experience including processing and explaining bylaws, policies, procedures and/or guidelines;
??? Valid Class 5 BC Driver???s Licence.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $23.62 to $27.77.
