The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for auxiliary Recreation Workers VI ??? Kinesiologists to join our team of professionals in the Parks and Recreation Division; Recreation Programs and Services Department.

The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality while demonstrating high level of professionalism. Reporting to the Recreation Programmer the Kinesiologist will perform specialized recreation work involving assessment of clients??? fitness needs and the development of individual rehabilitation, training and conditioning programs. The Kinesiologist is responsible for preparing reports and maintaining records related to this work.

Your education will include graduation in a Kinesiology Certificate Program with BCAK Kinesiologist registration, courses in community recreation, leadership and/or conflict resolution, and considerable related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicants that are a CSEP Exercise Specialist may be considered for additional positions.

This position is defined by the Township of Langley as a position of trust (Child Safety). The successful candidate(s) will be required to have a police information check as a condition of employment (Note - Not required as part of the application process, however will be required upon consideration for employment).

The rate of pay for this position is $29.00 - $33.00 per hour, plus 4% in lieu of benefits The hours of work are various; non-standard hours and/or non-standard work week.
