Our region covers more than 13,000 km2 stretching from Hatzic Prairie to Boston Bar. The Planning Division is responsible for both current development applications processing, as well as long-range planning initiatives in the rural parts of the region. We are looking for an energetic student to fill the time-duration position of Student I (Electoral Area Planning & Development). The term of this position will be from May 6, 2019 to August 30, 2019, and the hours of work are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch. Duties: The student will be involved with a variety of special projects; conducting research on best practices; supporting public planning processes; and assisting with the day to day needs of the department. Salary: The wage rate for this position will be $17.47 per hour ($15.80 plus 10.6% in lieu of benefits).
