Job Description: Provide strategic leadership and direction throughout the organization and to oversee the programs and operations of the Corporate Administration Department and the Information Services and Policing Services divisions.
Duties: Assisting the Chief Administrative Officer and Council in developing and implementing the District???s strategic plans, initiatives and directives and overseeing long-range municipal-wide special projects. With a focus on innovation, collaboration and customer service, you will strive to improve efficiencies, inter-departmental communication and teamwork by conducting reviews and audits of municipal policies and procedures and prepare and implement strategies to provide coordinated and efficient services to the municipality.

Act as the Property Manager for the municipality and will oversee the corporate risk enterprise/risk management system, matters related to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) and the municipal election process. You may be required to perform the responsibilities of the Corporate Officer as defined in the Local Government Act and the Community Charter.
Educational Requirements: A post-secondary degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a related discipline, supplemented by general supervisor, management or other related studies and extensive related experience at a senior level within government or the private sector. Preference will be given to applicants with their Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation.

It is essential that you are able to develop and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of internal and external customers. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on high quality service and outputs and results are essential.
