RESPONSIBILITIES
???This position involves a range of park structural maintenance activities, related to repair and renovation of park structures, including buildings, exterior stairs, wood bridges, spectator bleacher systems, park shelters and other related infrastructure;
???In this position you will work under the direction of the Park Technician, Park Structures Coordinator, and the Parks Structures Superintendent to perform manual and semi-skilled tasks involving considerable physical effort in repairing and renovating those listed park structures;
???You may be required to also assist in the renovation and installation of playgrounds, water parks, youth parks, park signage, park lighting systems, utility services, fencing and other miscellaneous park related structural elements.

QUALIFICATIONS
???Completion of grade 12;
???Supplemented by completion of two approved trade related courses relevant to the work from an accredited post-secondary education institution or professional association;
???A minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in construction related trades or acceptable equivalent combination of training and experience;
???Valid Class 5 BC Driver???s License.
