SCOPE
Be a part of the team that fosters the vibrant arts and culture community in Surrey. As a Community Services Assistant 2 at the Surrey Arts Centre, you will be part of the front line team who provide exceptional customer service and assistance to all those who enjoy and take part in our ground-breaking exhibitions, performances, events, and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Community Service Assistant 2 will:
???Provide excellent and professional front line customer service in person and over the phone and in person
???Assist with programs, registering clients, booking tickets for theatre events, and implementing daily cash procedures;
???Describe venue layouts and seating locations for our customers
???Organize and distribute "will-call" tickets
???Exhibit good problem solving skills when satisfying customer concerns
???Assist in other related job duties as necessary

We are seeking a customer-focused individual with high energy, and an enthusiastic approach who enjoys the chance to be a part of a team that values leadership and organizational talents.

QUALIFICATIONS
They will have:
???Completed grade 12, supplemented by 1 year of experience in community service work, or an equivalent combination of training and experience
???A current Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED certificate
???Customer Service Experience
???Cash handling experience
???A valid driver???s license with a safe driving history is an asset

The successful candidate must be able to work evening, weekend and weekday shifts.
