| Job Description: |
Cultus Lake Park is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the Special Assignment position of Park Utility I from June 15, 2017 to August 31, 2017. Under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor, the Park Utility I will perform a variety of tasks to maintain, operate and repair park grounds, public areas, buildings, utilities, equipment and vehicles; collect and dispose of refuse; maintain the cleanliness of washrooms; and maintain the security of buildings and facilities. |

| Educational Requirements: |
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Completion of grade 12 and a minimum of two years??? experience in a similar work environment, or an equivalent combination of education/experience;
Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively handle conflicting priorities;
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and converse with a wide range of people including contractors, staff and the general public;
Possess Occupational First Aid Level I or recognized equivalent is an asset;
Possess a valid Driver???s Licence.

| Skill Requirements: |
Experience with general carpentry and power tools is preferred;
Mechanical aptitude is preferred;

| Salary: |
The wage rate for this full-time position is $24.39 per hour plus 10% in lieu of benefits.
