This position will analyze, prepare and distribute regular and special financial statements as well assist in the planning, preparation, implementation and coordination of the budget process. Duties: This position requires strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills with the ability to conceptualize new approaches and solutions to improve existing financial systems and programs. You must also have effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able to translate financial and accounting data into meaningful, understandable information. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage teams and support collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the coordination of activities is a must. The individual will be responsible for directly managing and supervising a team of finance personnel responsible for payroll and other related finance functions. This position demands confidentiality and the ability to exercise considerable independence, judgment and confidence in decision making. Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years??? financial management experience at a supervisory level. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
