| Job Description: |
Cultus Lake Park is inviting applications from qualified candidates to fill the Special Assignment position of Park Utility I from May 1, 2017 to September 30, 2017. Under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor, the Park Utility I will perform a variety of tasks to maintain, operate and repair park grounds, public areas, buildings, utilities, equipment and vehicles; collect and dispose of refuse; and maintain the security of buildings and facilities.

| Educational Requirements: |
??? Completion of grade 12 and a minimum of two years??? experience in a similar work
environment, or an equivalent combination of education/experience;
??? Possess Occupational First Aid Level I;
??? Possess a valid Driver???s Licence.
|
|
| Skill Requirements: |
??? Mechanical aptitude is preferred;
??? Experience with general carpentry and power tools is preferred;
??? Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively handle conflicting priorities;
??? Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and
converse with a wide range of people including contractors, staff and the general public;

| Salary: |
The wage rate for this full-time position is $24.39 per hour plus 10% in lieu of benefits. |
