| Job Description: |
Cultus Lake Park is inviting applications from qualified candidates for fill the Special Assignment position of Building Custodian from May 15, 2017 to September 15, 2017. Under the direction of the Public Works Supervisor, the Building Custodian will perform a variety of interior and exterior janitorial and custodial duties; collecting refuse; setting up for functions; carrying out minor repairs to buildings and fixtures; and maintaining the security of buildings. |

The Building Custodian will perform a variety of interior and exterior janitorial and custodial duties; collecting refuse; setting up for functions; carrying out minor repairs to buildings and fixtures; and maintaining the security of buildings. |

| Educational Requirements: |
??? Completion of grade 12 and a minimum of two years??? experience in a similar work
environment, or an equivalent combination of education/experience;
??? A Building Service Worker Certificate or recognized equivalent is a definite asset;
??? Possess Occupational First Aid Level I;

| Skill Requirements: |
??? Knowledge of modern cleaning equipment and chemicals is preferred;
??? Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively handle conflicting priorities;
??? Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly and
converse with a wide range of people including contractors, staff, and the general public;
??? Possess a valid Driver???s Licence.

| Salary: |
The wage rate for this Special Assignment position is $17.79 per hour plus 10% in lieu of benefits. |
