Job Description: |
The District of Mission is seeking energetic and motivated individuals with excellent customer service and organizational skills to work as auxiliary/on-call Facilities Maintenance Worker 2???s. |
|
Duties: |
Employees in this position perform a variety of tasks related to recreation buildings and facilities. They are responsible to: install and maintain ice, operate related equipment, perform minor maintenance and repair of machines, pumps and filters. |
|
Educational Requirements: |
You must have high school graduation (or equivalent), a minimum of 1 year experience in ice making and building maintenance. |
|
Skill Requirements: |
Required licenses include Ice Facility Operator Certificate, Building Service Worker Certificate, Level 1 Occupational First Aid and a Class 5 BC Driver???s license. |
|
Salary: |
The 2016 hourly rate for this positon is $29.12 plus 4% in lieu of benefits. |
|
Additional Information: |
The successful candidates must be available to work primarily afternoons and occasional day shifts. Auxiliaries must be available to work on short notice. |
