| Job Description: |
Surrey is set to be the most populous city in BC by 2041 and the Light Rail Transit project will help shape and focus growth along the LRT corridors. With a capital cost of over $1 Billion for the first phase of the project, this will be the largest capital project in our City???s history. Phase 1 will not only comfortably and efficiently transport over 18 million passengers per year, it will also transform Surrey into connected, complete and livable communities. |

| Duties: |
The City???s Project Team is committed to delivering on City Council???s LRT (Light Rail Transit) vision for Surrey???s residents and businesses through City projects and in partnership with TransLink and other senior governments. The Team will:
??? Work with Council, the community, TransLink and the joint Project Team (TL/ Surrey) to align the project scope and funding with the City???s LRT vision.
??? Manage all project deliverables for the City under the SNG LRT project scope, including the timely delivery of required early works, procurement documents, City LRT communications and other works along the SNG LRT corridor.
??? Provide leadership on urban integration and City advocacy and public engagement throughout the project.
??? Build, optimize and sustain partnerships with all stakeholders, with a focus on the partnership with TransLink and the Province of BC
