The Township of Langley is currently recruiting for an auxiliary Recreation Worker VI – Kick Boxing Instructor to join our team of professionals in the Recreation, Culture, and Parks Division.

These auxiliary positions’ hours of work are varied, including day, evening and weekend classes. It is essential that the ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, is energetic and enthusiastic, is well organized and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts.

These auxiliary positions will lead Kick Boxing classes at various sites, including the Walnut Grove Community Centre, W.C. Blair Recreation Centre, Willowbrook Recreation Centre, Aldergrove Kinsmen Centre and Willoughby Community Centre, located in the Langley Events Centre.

The successful candidate must have previous experience or certification in Kick Boxing Instruction or other similar martial arts. Your education will include, current First Aid with CPR. The rate of pay for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of benefits, and the hours of work are varied.

This position is defined by the Township of Langley as a position of trust (Child Safety) and requires a criminal record check
