The City is located half an hour south of Vancouver on the shore of Semiahmoo Bay. Duties: Reporting to the City Manager and as a valued member of the Senior Management team, you will lead the Administration and Professional Services, Engineering, and Operations divisions within the Department. The Director provides leadership to all functions within the Department ranging from establishing the overall strategic direction and annual work plans for the Department all the way through to directing staff on daily tasks in the provision of City services, planning, coordination and supervision of Departmental activities. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, developers, public utility and business representatives, government officials and the public. Educational Requirements: Qualifications include a Bachelors or Masters’ degree in a related field and a minimum ten (10) years progressive managerial responsibility including management at a senior level. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills are a must.
