With the rapid growth of YXX we have many exciting projects upcoming and also recently completed a $4.3 million runway extension, renovations to the international terminal building and a new loading bridge. |

| Duties: |
In this newly created position, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Airport’s facilities. We will count on you to monitor the airside, terminal and groundside preventative maintenance programs, as well as lead the snow and ice control operations. |
|
| Educational Requirements: |
As the successful candidate you must have:
- Construction Trades Qualification or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma
|
|
| Skill Requirements: |
- Three years experience in an airport maintenance environment
- Knowledge of TP312 (Transport Canada guidelines)
- A valid BC Driver’s License (Class 5) and ability to attain Class 3 Driver’s License within 6 months of hire
- Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (or ability to obtain)

| Salary: |
The hourly rate of pay for this union position is from $28.39 to $33.40 per hour (2009 rates). In addition, the City of Abbotsford offers a comprehensive benefits package. |
